Introduction to Journalism and Mass Communication:
Mass Communication means communicating to the masses, relaying the information to the masses through different modes. The choice of the media selected for broadcasting the message is very important. The chosen media should have the ability to put the point in front of a large section of society instead of catering to just one individual, simply speaking it must have mass appeal. The information to be relayed can take different forms. It can be purely newsy or entertaining.
