Introduction: If your hobby is to collect old and new coins, also rare and modern, then one may earn big bucks or rather make good money or earn millions of rupees if one uses his brains sharply and invest smartly. For e.g. a rare one rupee coin of mintage 1960 went under the hammer for 2,20,000/. Another Rs.10/ coin from British era with queen Victoria’s image was auctioned for Rs.1, 60,000/. One has to always be in touch with the market to find out what is moving and what is not and accordingly decide on what to but and sell. In short the whole game is of demand and supply.
