Career as an Electronic Engineer

Introduction:
In Electronic Engineering students learn how radio, TV, computers function. It is a combination of electricity, electronics and software development. India is experiencing a telecom boom and a lot of job opportunities are up for grabs in this sector. Indian telecom industry is opening up operations in Africa. So one might get opportunities there in the future.
Skills required to be an electronic engineer:
One needs to learn about different work cultures, as one needs to interact with people from different backgrounds i.e. both nationally and internationally.
One should not restrict himself to any particular field. One should expose himself to various work processes.
One needs to be upgraded about the market trends and quite bold in his approach.
One should develop the skills of planning and executing well.
Career Path:
Firstly 12th (HSC) pass in Science field is a must
Later Master’s or PHD which are relevant to today’s industry.
MBA programme is considered an important factor for better job prospects for most electronic engineers today.
